We went for our level II u/s yesterday and everything went wonderfully. The cpc had completely resolved and aside from that baby girl is growing healthy and perfectly normal. While I can't say I was too worried, it was definitely a relief to hear that! All in all, the level II was actually really cool. I loved being able to stare at the baby for a good 30 minutes! She was pretty cooperative and we managed to reconfirm that she is indeed a girl!
After the u/s tech got all her measurements, the perinatologist came in and spoke with us about how everything looked great. He said that cpc's are pretty common and that if babies had u/s everyday a vast majority of them would have these. They come and go and a good number of adults still have them. He said that its possible that she may get more, but that it would be completely benign and wouldn't interfere with her development or growth. In all likelihood, they would get to a certain size and then dissipate again.
Needless to say we were so thrilled with the news and were excited to get a more in depth look at baby girl.
Otherwise, I've been pretty busy at work. I've also been busy researching in-home care providers (their homes, not mine) for day care once I go back to work after mat leave. We had one interview last night and really liked the lady. We have 3 more and then we'll decide. We're hoping to have a day care person nailed down by the end of March.

What GOOD news!! What a relief to know that it resolved on it's own. I can only imagine how you both feel right now. How awesome that you got to see the baby for a good 30 minutes. Every moment we see them, it's so precious. GL with the interviews!!
